PTI Conferences

The Adrian Rogers Pastor Training Institute originated as a series of three-day ministry training seminars initially called “Up Close and Personal with Adrian Rogers.”

From 2003-2005, Dr. Adrian Rogers hosted a hand full of these live events where 50-100 pastors gathered together in an intimate setting and were equipped by his 50+ years of wisdom and experience in full time ministry.

Following Dr. Rogers’ heavenly home-going in November, 2005, the conference ministry continued as the three-day seminars were officially developed into a series, ultimately titled, “What Every Pastor Ought to Know.” In April 2005, the seminars were professionally videotaped and all throughout 2006, they were edited and compiled into the 10 DVD, 15 Session curriculum that is now gaining renown across the globe.

The conference ministry was able to continue via the DVDs, as the video curriculum was taken to a number of churches, both small and large, across the United States—including Prestonwood Baptist in Plano, TX, and Crosspointe Church in Duluth, GA—and presented as a one-day training conference.

During the United States “conference tour,” Pastor Training Institute began to receive invitations from Africa, India, and Latin America, all requesting that the PTI team travel to these nations and conduct ministry training conferences for the local pastors who were inaccessible to any type of formal seminary education.

Since 2007, the Pastor Training team has visited the nations of Kenya, India, Nigeria, Ethiopia and most recently, Venezuela. In 2010, PTI will orchestrate two major international conferences, one in the United States and one in the United Kingdom.
