News 03.23.2010 David Rogers and team—Back from Nicaragua
From David Rogers (3.22.10):
Thank you everyone for your prayers for Dick, Todd and myself this past weekend in Nicaragua. We are now back safe in Memphis. The Lord was with us, keeping us safe, and opening doors for fruitful ministry. The group who went through the initial session of the Adrian Rogers Pastor Training course was very enthusiastic, and seemed to benefit greatly from the teaching on the DVD, as well as the discussion we led them in. There was a total of about 22 people there, of which about 12 were pastors. They plan to continue on with the training course during the months ahead. Several are new pastors/church planters involved in new church plants.
Also, some fruitful and important conversations took place regarding future opportunities for continuing to partner with the churches and believers there in Leon, and throughout Nicaragua.
It was great to know we were being held up before the throne of God, and to receive several encouraging notes from several of you, on the way down there, and while we were actually there.
